About AGD
Applied Genetic Diagnostics (AGD) is an operational unit of The Department of Pathology that performs diagnostic sequencing for neurodegenerative diseases, offers genetic sequencing on a fee-for-service basis, and engages in neurogenetic research.
Tiffany Cowie (BSc(hons), MBA) has over a decade of molecular biology experience, operating in both research and diagnostic applications. Voula Kanellakis (BSc(hons)) has applied her skills in management of scientific systems in commercial and academic settings.
AGD recognises the importance of customer service, and strives to offer professional, efficient delivery of both our diagnostic and sequencing applications.
Both the genetic diagnostic and sequencing services of Applied Genetic Diagnostics are accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA), accreditation number 3196.
